About Uttarayan CHS Ltd.

The Uttarayan CHS Ltd. was registered on 17th October 1984, under registration number BOM/W.K.E/HSG.(TC)674).

The formation of our society was spearheaded by Mr. Amar Singh Chauhan, Mr. Mahavir Singh Chauhan, Mr. Ratan Singh Baratwal, along with a group of like-minded visionaries. Together, they turned their dream of affordable housing into a reality through strong community cooperation.

In a unique and collective spirit, all members agreed to be co-promoters of the society.

A lease agreement for 999 years was signed on 24th July 1985 after identifying the current land parcel.

This was a self-development initiative focused on low-cost housing. Some members arranged their own finances, while most secured housing loans through Maharashtra Housing Finance Society Ltd.

Despite challenges like arranging housing loans, EMI collection, provision of basic amenities, and managing development compliance — the team stood strong.

Finally, in 1991, possession was handed over to 160 happy families, marking the success of a bold and united vision.

Later, 8 additional flats were constructed, growing the society to 168 families across 7 buildings — a vibrant and diverse cosmopolitan community.
